    • Achievo is a Web-based project management and tracking tool for small- to medium-sized companies, aiming to become a fully featured ERP-like system in the future. Features include a time registration module, scheduler, project management, todo’s, and several statistical tools. Achievo is multi-language, fully customizable, and uses a modular system to allow future extensions.
    • AjaXplorer is an easy-to-install file explorer for remotely managing files on a Web server. Its rich GUI makes it accessible to any end-user. Its main features are common file actions (uploading, downloading, moving, renaming, etc.), online file editing, image preview, a bookmarks system, and more. It requires PHP to run and FTP access only for installation.
    • AgileWiki is a Java-based wiki that provides a virtual wiki for each registered user, complete with access control and versioning. The backend includes a built-in database (which uses flat files) and communicates via RMI to either a Servlet (packaged as a WAR file) or to a Swing client. AgileWiki is also both an application platform and a knowledge management system.

    • The Amahi Home Server is a Linux Home Server based on Fedora (and later on Ubuntu). Your machine becomes a “Home Digital Assistant” or HDA after the installation. It also includes its own live support help system, blogs, RSS feeds, customizable themes, and a discussion forum. It can also used as an AdSense ready application.
    • Calenco is a collaborative editing Web platform. It allows remote teams of writers, translators, and designers to create multi-lingual content and publish it in various formats: PDF, HTML, etc. It is based on XML technology to store and transform content.
    • Chinook is an online tool for interactive content collaboration. It allows users to upload content in the form of PDF files or PowerPoint presentations, and then view this content and comment on it in a forum environment.     • Citadel is an advanced messaging and collaboration system for groupware and BBS applications. Users can connect to Citadel using any telnet, WWW, or client software. It provides an advanced package mechanism for development and deployment of Contelligent projects and extensions. Contelligent implements a component based approach that allows reuse of existing content, layout, and application logic in various contexts and for new unplanned needs.
    • Contineo is a Web-based document management system. It assists its users by managing documents in most popular formats. Contineo aims to fulfill all phases of the document lifecycle. You can create and develop documents by using office software. With contineo itself, you can publish, search, and manage the versions of documents. Furthermore, you can communicate with other users directly or via email.
    • Cosmo is the OSAF calendar sharing server. With your favorite calendar program (Chandler, Apple iCal, Mozilla Sunbird, or any other WebDAV or CalDAV enabled client), you can share your calendar with other people by publishing it to Cosmo.     • DAViCal is a server implementation of the CalDAV protocol for storing calendaring resources (in iCalendar format) on a remote shared server. An increasing number of calendar clients support the maintenance of shared remote calendars through CalDAV including Mozilla Calendar (Sunbird/Lightning), Evolution, Mulberry, Chandler, and various other closed-source products such as Apple’s iCal and iPhone. DAViCal supports basic delegation of read/write access among calendar users, multiple users or clients reading and writing the same calendar entries over time, and scheduling of meetings with free/busy time displayed.

    • eGroupWare is a Web-based groupware suite.     • Elgg is a professional social networking platform that empowers individuals, groups, and institutions to create their own fully-featured social network. It can also be used as a basis for developing custom networks using powerful hooks and APIs.
    • ELOG Electronic Web Logbook is an electronic logbook with a Web interface. It can be used to maintain personal or shared logbooks, with the ability to add attachments to logbook pages. Logbook entries can be categorized with user-defined classes, and queried using filters on these classes. Automatic email notifications can be generated on new entries based on the classes. The ELOG server is a small stand-alone C program, which runs under Linux and Windows. No other packages are required. The logbooks are saved in plain ASCII files for easy and fast access.

    • Infonomix is a project management system similar to Trac, written in PHP and using XSLT. It is designed more for professional services tasks, like graphic design and Web development. It also keeps track of time using a time clock system, and time can be assigned to tasks, projects, or clients.
    • Imptalk is communication and collaboration software for talking and working with groups of people in real time.
    • KForge is a system for managing software and knowledge projects. It re-uses existing best-of-breed tools such as versioned storage (subversion), a tracker (trac), and a wiki (trac or moinmoin), integrating them with the system’s own facilities (projects, users, permissions, etc.).     • Kolab is a groupware system that provides a comprehensive and flexible solution for workgroups. Email, contacts, and group calendars can be managed via the Web, Windows/Outlook, and Linux/KDE. It supports offline synchronization and full seamless support of mixed client environments because the Kolab-XML storage format is fully open and avoids MAPI/TNEF.
    • KONSEC Kolab Server is a highly scalable, cluster-capable messaging and collaboration server that is based on the outstanding open source project, Kroupware. The KONSEC Konnektor is a simple client extension that gives Outlook complete group functionality through the Kolab Server, which employs the open standard IMAP together with ACLs, thus enabling you to collaborate in a unique mixed Windows/Linux environment.
    • Livespaces is an operating system for building advanced meeting spaces. It provides a distributed software infrastructure built on the Elvin messaging service (the Livespace Bus) for coordinating software and devices across any number of computers in a meeting space, and user-facing applications for controlling a smart meeting room and collaborating with other participants. It also supports federation with remote Livespaces to facilitate collaboration between distributed teams.

    • OpenDocMan is a full featured Web-based document management system designed to conform to ISO 17025/IEC. It features an automated installation script, check-in/out, departmental access control, file moderation, fine grained user access control, and a great search function. Written in PHP, and utilizing MySQL for the backend, this project is useful for any company looking to keep their documentation in a centralized repository.

    • Tinypug is a system for building portals that enables innovation communities. The idea is to go beyond one-off statistical surveys (which tend to only verify an existing paradigm) to foster real collaboration and anecdotal feedback from users/customers. A company seeking to gather more feedback on its products usually has to resort to a few existing stand-alone mechanisms such as polls and comments on product listings. But Tinypug puts all of these tools together in one place. It also makes it easier to integrate with call center applications for the active gathering of customer feedback. It’s not a content management system as much as it is a feedback management system. It provides in-browser message boards, polls, surveys, and user-submitted ideas with voting.     • Virtual Collaboratory is a Web-based collaboration application that features a directed discussion forum based on Mailman providing for threaded short and long term discussions. It includes a calendaring function, integration with the Elluminate meeting software, document exchange, version control, a research resource center, custom categorizations, FAQs, and the ability to search for users with similar interests.
    • W-Agora (Web-Agora) is a database-driven communications system which allows you and your visitors to store and display messages, files, and other information on your web site. More than “just another Web BBS/forum software”, W-Agora is designed so it can be easily customizable through a Web browser and the use of templates.
