Este provoca alteraciones y disfunciones psicofisiol\u00f3gicas con consecuencias nocivas para la persona, la familia y el desempe\u00f1o en el trabajo. Cabe destacar que los profesionales de enfermer\u00eda constituyen una poblaci\u00f3n de alto riesgo en la ocurrencia de este s\u00edndrome especialmente por las actuales condiciones laborales y exigencias del mercado de trabajo. El Objetivo de la presente investigaci\u00f3n es conocer el grado de desgaste profesional del equipo de enfermer\u00eda que trabaja en salas de quir\u00f3fano de un hospital p\u00fablico de la ciudad de Montevideo, Uruguay. El tipo de estudio es cuantitativo, descriptivo, transversal, no probabil\u00edstico, muestreo a conveniencia seg\u00fan criterios de inclusi\u00f3n, con participaci\u00f3n voluntaria y consentimiento informado. Se aplicaron cuestionarios: Maslasch Burnout Inventory para el agotamiento emocional, despersonalizaci\u00f3n y falta de realizaci\u00f3n en el trabajo y de caracterizaci\u00f3n sociodemogr\u00e1fica- laboral. De los resultados se destaca que la edad media fue de 36 \u00b1 5 a\u00f1os y 73 % fueron mujeres. Seg\u00fan el estado civil el 51% contest\u00f3 estar soltero\/a, con respecto al grado profesional el 80% fueron auxiliares de enfermer\u00eda. En cuanto a la antig\u00fcedad en el servicio el 42% corresponde a 0-4 a\u00f1os y el 64% tiene dos empleos. El 80% tiene r\u00e9gimen de libres de 5 d\u00edas de trabajo y 2 de descanso y el restante 20% libre rotativo. El 15,8 % de los entrevistados present\u00f3 un grado elevado de agotamiento emocional, el 16,8 % para despersonalizaci\u00f3n y 9,6 % para la falta de realizaci\u00f3n en el trabajo. La prevalencia del S\u00edndrome fue de 1,8%. Se puede concluir que el grado de desgaste profesional es relativamente bajo en sus tres categor\u00edas para la poblaci\u00f3n estudiada.; Burnout syndrome is a physical and psychosocial phenomenon is a response to chronic job stress, when the subject lacks functional strategies affronts to perceived stress. This causes disturbances, psychophysiological problems and dysfunctions with harmful consequences for the individual, family and job performance. It should be noted that nurses are a high-risk population in the occurrence of this syndrome especially in the current working conditions and labor market demands. The objective of this research is to determine the degree of equipment wear professional nurses working in operating theaters at a public hospital in the city of Montevideo, Uruguay. The type of study is quantitative, descriptive, transversal, not probabilistic sampling convenience as inclusion criteria, with voluntary participation and informed consent. Questionnaires were applied: Maslasch Burnout Inventory for emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and lack of fulfillment at work and occupational sociodemogr\u00e1fica- characterization. From the results it emerged that the mean age was 36 \u00b1 5 years and 73% were women. By marital status 51% said being single \/ a, with respect to professional grade 80% were nursing assistants. As for the length of service it corresponds to 42% 0-4 years and 64% have two jobs. 80% have free regime 5 and 2 and the remaining 20% free newspaper. 15.8% of respondents showed a high degree of emotional exhaustion, 16.8% to 9.6% for depersonalization and lack of fulfillment at work. Prevalence was 1.8% syndrome. It can be concluded that the degree of professional burnout is relatively low in three categories for the study population.; S\u00edndrome de Burnout \u00e9 um fen\u00f4meno f\u00edsico e psicossocial \u00e9 uma resposta ao estresse no trabalho cr\u00f4nico, quando o assunto carece de estrat\u00e9gias funcionais afrontas \u00e0 estresse percebido. Isso faz com que os dist\u00farbios, problemas psicofisiol\u00f3gicos e disfun\u00e7\u00f5es com consequ\u00eancias prejudiciais para o desempenho individual, familiar e trabalho. Deve notar-se que os enfermeiros s\u00e3o uma popula\u00e7\u00e3o de alto risco para a ocorr\u00eancia dessa s\u00edndrome especialmente nas actuais condi\u00e7\u00f5es de trabalho e as exig\u00eancias do mercado de trabalho. O objetivo desta pesquisa \u00e9 determinar o grau de equipamentos de desgaste enfermeiros profissionais que trabalham em salas de cirurgia em um hospital p\u00fablico na cidade de Montevid\u00e9u, Uruguai.
